Sashiko weave(刺し子織) is a simple pattern to realize strong but soft fabric, “looks like” Sashiko patch working but it doesn’t mean the way of stitching, is the name of weaving for this textile. Actually it’s not honey-comb weave but we can feel the similarity when we touch it. It may be becease of the cotton’s character and the process of spinning.

the fabric and sewing work, originally used for making uniforms for kendo, judo and karate, is good for a shoulder bag. I can always keep a photo camera in the bag without taking care if I may hit the corner.

The back pocket keeps an A4 folder. I just want to keep a slim folder in A4 size but I don’t need any much wider size to keep thick magazines, books.
